🔎 Visa Status Check
Use the authority that owns your immigration file and enter the correct reference number.
1. ICP or GDRFA?

A company name or work location does not always identify the issuing emirate. Check the application receipt or residence record.
2. Know your numbers
- Application number: tracks a particular immigration service request.
- File number: identifies the immigration/residence file and may be printed in sections.
- PRAN: the Emirates ID application reference printed on the ID registration form; it is not automatically the same as the visa application number.
- UID: a unified immigration identity number. Do not guess one number into another field.
3. Correct checking method
- Open ICP for non-Dubai files or GDRFA/Amer for Dubai.
- Select application tracking, file validity or residence inquiry according to what you need.
- Copy the exact number from the receipt, including every digit; enter date of birth/nationality where requested.
- Compare name, passport, sponsor, issue/expiry dates and status.
- Save the result and ask the sponsor/typing centre for the official receipt if no record appears.
4. Common messages
- Submitted/under process: received but not final.
- Returned/requires modification: sponsor or centre must correct or upload something.
- Approved: that application stage is approved; confirm whether residence issuance is a separate stage.
- No data found: wrong authority, wrong number type, typing error, delayed synchronisation or an old/closed request are possible.
Practical check: If your Emirates ID was recently registered, allow normal system processing, then verify both the residence record and ID application rather than relying only on UAE Pass.
