🪪 Emirates ID Guide
From the application form and PRAN to biometrics, digital ID and card delivery.
1. Application and PRAN
Check the ID application before submission: English/Arabic name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, phone, email and delivery address. The PRAN/application reference on the form is used for ID tracking, so keep the complete receipt.
2. Biometrics
- New applicants or people instructed by ICP attend the assigned/approved service centre.
- Bring the original passport and appointment/application documents requested on the notice.
- Arrive on time and follow instructions for fingerprints, photo or signature.
- A completed biometric visit does not itself mean the residence is final.
3. Track and receive the card
- Use the official ICP application-status service with the PRAN/ID reference.
- Read whether the application is submitted, printed, dispatched or needs action.
- Follow the official delivery message; never pay through an unknown link.
- After receipt, verify name, ID number and expiry date immediately.
4. Digital ID, renewal and changes
- ICP or UAE Pass may display digital identity/residence records after systems update.
- Renew through the sponsor or correct official channel before expiry.
- Report material data changes through ICP within the applicable period.
- For a lost or damaged card, report and request replacement through ICP; protect photos/copies from misuse.
Security: No genuine helper needs your UAE Pass password, OTP or remote control of your phone.
