Before the interview

Strong answer structure

Use Situation → Action → Result. Keep the example relevant and specific.

Why should we hire you?Match 2–3 job requirements with evidence; do not say only “I work hard”.
Why did you leave?Keep it factual and professional; focus on next-role fit, not attacking the old employer.
Expected salary?Ask about the full package and duties; give a reasonable range only after understanding them.
When can you join?State real visa/notice availability; never promise an illegal or impossible date.

Good answers prioritise safety, company procedure, documentation and calm communication.

Questions you should ask

  1. What are the exact duties and work location?
  2. What is basic salary and which allowances/benefits are separate?
  3. What are normal duty hours, break, weekly rest and overtime arrangements?
  4. Who provides visa/work permit, insurance, transport, accommodation and tools/vehicle?
  5. How is performance measured and what deductions can occur?
  6. What are probation and notice terms?
  7. When will I receive the written offer and official contract?
