Understand each part

Real monthly comparison
Reliable cash income = basic salary + fixed allowances + realistic guaranteed pay.
Likely savings = reliable income + realistic average variable pay − rent − food − transport/fuel − phone − debt − other personal/work expenses.
- Do not count “up to” commission as guaranteed.
- Give provided accommodation a realistic value only after checking location, sharing and transport.
- Include unpaid travel or split-shift waiting time when comparing hourly value.
- Keep low, normal and high commission scenarios.
Ask these questions in writing
- Exact basic and total salary?
- Pay date and WPS/payment method where applicable?
- Commission target, cancellations, returns and payment after resignation?
- Normal hours, weekly rest and overtime approval?
- Accommodation: provided or allowance, location, occupants and utilities?
- Transport: staff bus, allowance, company car or own vehicle?
- Medical insurance coverage and start date?
- Annual ticket policy, eligibility and cash value?
- All possible deductions and who pays work tools/uniform/vehicle expenses?
Driver/delivery package example
AED 3,000 salary with your own car and fuel may leave less than AED 2,000 with room, food and company vehicle. Compare:
- Fuel and daily distance
- Car installment/rent and depreciation
- Oil, tyres, battery, repair reserve and insurance
- Tolls, parking, mobile data and accident excess
- Accommodation/food/transport included
- Total duty hours and number of rest days
Keep salary evidence
- Signed offer and official contract
- Attendance, shifts and approved overtime
- Commission/order statements
- Bank/WPS salary records and payslips
- Receipts and written deduction explanation
- Requests/complaints sent through traceable channels

Offer B looks lower by headline salary but can leave more money. Check the actual room, location, sharing, travel time, working hours and written benefit terms before deciding. This remainder is a personal budget estimate, not a legal wage or end-of-service calculation.
