⛽ Fuel Saving Guide
Reduce unnecessary kilometres and improve real fuel economy.
Measure first
- Fill consistently and reset the trip meter.
- At the next fill, divide kilometres by litres used.
- Record route, AC, traffic and load.
- Compare several tanks—not one trip.
Daily savings
- Group stops and choose a route before leaving.
- Avoid harsh acceleration, speeding and unnecessary idling.
- Maintain manufacturer-recommended cold tyre pressure.
- Remove unnecessary weight and roof drag.
- Use AC sensibly, but never compromise safety in UAE heat.
Fix abnormal consumption
Check warning lights, tyre pressure/alignment, air filter, oil grade, brakes, cooling and engine sensors with a qualified workshop. A cheap repair can save fuel; random parts replacement wastes money.
Calculate fuel cost on your own route
Example only: 260 km using 26 litres is 10 km/litre. At an assumed AED 3/litre, a 130 km day costs about AED 39. At 13 km/litre it costs AED 30: roughly AED 9 less daily. Replace the sample pump price and economy with receipts from several actual fills; AC, traffic, route and load change results.
For delivery work, compare kilometres and fuel cost per completed paid order. Group nearby stops before driving and avoid a distant cheaper pump if the detour erases the saving. See the vehicle maintenance guide.
