Account charges to check

Compare remittances

Total cost = transfer fee + exchange-rate margin + receiving deductions. Enter the same AED amount with licensed providers and compare the exact foreign-currency amount delivered, speed and refund policy.

Transfer safely

  1. Use a UAE-licensed bank/exchange/remittance provider.
  2. Verify beneficiary name and account/IBAN.
  3. Send a smaller first transfer when appropriate.
  4. Keep receipt and reference until received.
  5. Never move money for a stranger or share OTP/PIN.
Exchange rates change. A “zero fee” transfer can still cost more through a weaker rate.

Illustrative quote for sending AED 1,000: provider A takes no visible fee and offers 75 receiving-currency units per AED, yielding 75,000. Provider B charges AED 10 then exchanges the remaining AED 990 at 76 units per AED, yielding 75,240. B delivers 240 more despite the fee. Actual rates and fees change; compare live final payout and any receiving-bank deduction.

Keep the quote, receipt and transaction reference. If you dispute a charge, request an itemised explanation through the provider's official channel. See CBUAE consumer information for current complaint guidance.
